The ESL School at WPC: History

For six years, Westminster dedicated its resources and the Synod of the Northeast grants to educate non-English speaking parents and new English speakers of all ages though The ESL School at WPC. We provided formal instruction and group interactions to equip parents to support their children academically, and eager English learners for their full participation in our diverse society. The English School at WPC provided free childcare in order to help ensure that more non-English speaking parents enroll. 

For over three years, Nassau Presbyterian Church, Westminster's partner church provided volunteer tutors on Wednesday nights.

During 2022-2023, Westminster and the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund will partner to offer ESL Classes! Ava Randal, our Princeton Theological Seminary Intern 2022-2023 is dedicating her Field Education hours to teaching ESL and providing administrative support.
