Christ Hedges was one of our prominent speakers during our four-month zoom series on the NJ Criminal Justice System organized with Nassau and Westminster Presbyterian Churches. Westminster’s leaders attended many protests to oppose USA’s policy to separate migrant refugee families.
Westminster hosted a Trenton Stakeholders meeting to help foster stronger effective community partnerships to address many social justice concerns and to support the arts: i.e. quality public school education, dismantling mass incarceration and supporting reentry/returning citizens, access to healthcare services, immigration services and issues, and engaging the faith-based communities.
