ABOUT US
Intern
Coming from Southern California, Tom has been involved in the Korean-American Church for all of his life until high school. It was after graduating from high school that he decided to stay in Seoul, Korea, where he learned the language and culture of his motherland. After two years, Tom decided to return to the States, where he studied at the University of California, Berkeley. He had planned to go on to do graduate work in literature, when during his senior year he received the call from God to attend seminary. It was also during this time that Tom became an intern in a multicultural worshiping community called Calvary Presbyterian Church. After a year of interning, he arrived at Princeton Theological Seminary, where he has finished a fruitful first year in the Master of Divinity program. Tom has been a part of the Westminster family since he arrived in Princeton. He works at the Crisis Ministry and plans to become ordained in the PCUSA. He began his internship at Westminster last June and has recently moved into the Bethany House of Hospitality, an intentional living community in Trenton. Tom is excited to continue his internship at Westminster, where he hopes to participate in extending Christ's Love and Peace to the city.
